When the shit hits the fan

The key to dealing with a tense situation and come out smelling like a rose is very simple. Always be calmer than everyone else. This is an everyday truth that can be applied to any and all situations. From the extreme to the simple.
Think of all the action movies you have seen. How do you know which one is the hero. Which one is the super attractive man that all the women are fawning over. Its the one who is calmly and quietly assessing the situation to find a way out.
So when the shit hits the fan always be calmer than everyone else in the room.

This also brings to mind another need to know principle:

ITS NOT WHAT HAPPENS ITS HOW YOU REACT TO WHAT HAPPENS

A date can go horribly horribly wrong but still end up being the best date a woman has ever been on depending on the way a man reacts. Look at the scene in hitch where he accidentally kicks her in the face on a date yet afterwords she still bragging to her friend about how awesome the date was. This is a perfect example.

So think about these things. I know I was.

Proximity IOI's/Bus stop game

Definition:
A woman getting into the proximity were an approach is possible even though she could be somewhere else. This is a proximity IOI. She is subconsciously saying approach me. Hell she is screaming it.

Today I was out practicing day game and went to one of my favorite spots. I was waiting at my school's bus stop. Two very attractive island girls walked up and sat next to me. There was plenty of room on other benches. They had other places they could go. This IS AN IOI.

When a girl gives you this kind of blatant IOI they will open succesfully 99.9 % of the time.

Now obviously a girl on a bus who is being forcibly jammed against you is not giving you an IOI and more than likely is uncomfortable by the close contact.

Let me tell you what happened today.

These two girls sat down right next to me, so I opened. I did not think I opened. I asked them when the next bus was coming. This is the easiest and most fool proof opener I have found for a bus stop situation. It gets the Conversation started easily. The girls looked at me, smiled and laughed saying they didnt know. Smile and laughter, these are IOI's.

Alpha Male Behavior (How do we learn it)

Learning alpha male behavior.
Its a difficult thing to pin down. One of the easiest and fastest ways I have found to learn is threw modeling characters from telivision and film. I know it sounds weird but I am a big motivator for learning alpha male behavior this way. Im a big proprietor of character modeling for multiple things but this to me is probably the most important.
How does this work? Easy but it takes some thought. What characters can you think of that exemplify alpha male behavior to you. Got one? good. Now you go and watch them. repeatedly. Look at the way they act the things they do. What makes them Alpha. They're body language? the way the talk? the things they say and do?
The answer is yes. All of the above.
This is the introduction to a new section of the blog called the Alpha male Reports. I'm gonna take some of my favorite characters and give you an Idea what you can take from studying them. but until then take a look at some of these characters and see what you come up with on your own.

Just one of the boys

As pick up artists we are all aware of how many different kind of women there are in the world. To list them all would take a lifetime, we are here to discuss just one type.

The female athlete, one of the boys. Which is the exact problem. They don't necessarily have to be an athlete just one of the boys. We have all seen them, we have all grew up with them. The girl who hangs out with all the boys.

This girl feels more comfortable considering herself one of the guys, she doesn't really understand her own gender. Don't ask this girl for advice about girls she will usually just laugh or get uncomfortable. These girls hardly ever were skirts or dresses and when they do they are visibly uncomfortable. All the AFC's crush on this girl because she appears in reach. She is just like them. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. Because what these guys cant seem to wrap there head around is no matter how simmilar to them they are you need to treat them like girls.

Let me lay this scenario out for you. Three guys one girl. They are friends for years. Then in highschool one of the boys starts to crush on said girl. Aside from flirting and acting uncomfortable he still treats her the same he treats her the way he has always treated her. Like one of the guys.

Are you starting to see where I'm going with this.

Let me lay out one more scenario before I tell you the two ways to get this girl.
Same three guys and one girl. This time quarterback of the football team starts to take a liking to the girl. And she to him. They end up getting together.

Now tell me why does this second guy get the girl and the first guy doesn't.

Its simple and they're are two reasons.

They need to be treated like girls. They are so much more alpha than most of there female friends that they need to be reminded they are girls. The football player does this. he is so much more alpha than her that she feels like a girl when she is around him. And she starts to act like it. The football player haven't not had her as one of the guys. Treats her like a girl. WHICH IS WHAT IS NECESSARY.

Simply put.
The focus needs to be on

1. Out alpha male'ing her
2. Treat her like a girl

Tonight I am having dinner with a female friend who is just like this. she recently got into a relationship and im meeting the man for the first time. Ill tell you guys there story in the next post.

Delivery Practice

New students of mine are constantly trying to practice there openers any way possible. But nothing beats real world practice. Only problem there is how to practice because most beginners have approach anxiety and cannot seem to just approach girls for the sake of practice. So approach anxiety and fear of rejection keep you from approaching.

What if you could approach new girls to practice openers and get the delivery practice you need?

Well its not an if there is a way.

Hired Guns.

I know that most people tell beginners to stay away from hired guns. I encourage it. Think about. You can run an entire opener on them in a store without fear of rejection.

No I'm not saying to pick up these hired guns. I'm saying practice your openers.

KEYWORD: PRACTICE!!!

Treat it as such.

My recommendation for a newbie mission:

Gather your openers and go to the mall. Go into any store and open up the salespeople. Make it situation relevant though as you would with any set. You cant just jump up to a salesclerk and ask her opinion on whether you should bleach your hair blond or about your friends jealous girlfriend. But it would make sense if you asked her opinion on what to buy, whether this looks good on you, or whether there is a Starbucks nearby.

Practice flirting just for the sake of flirting.

This will help you practice your delivery, and develop the attitude of being nonreactive and progressively you will move from salespeople to the customers in the mall and you wont even notice.

Shopping with Siren Part 1

As my readers know I am incredibly close with a woman who goes by the name of Siren. we were shopping the other day. And I got to witness her being hit on, twice and once more today in a very awkward kind of endearing way.

We are standing in line of borders. There is a woman and a man cashier. She has her purchase and I have mine. After the male Cashier is done with the previous customer Siren being the take charge woman that she is walks up before he calls for the next customer. When the cashier looks up he says "Hello" and his voice cracks. In the presence of this beautiful woman he had trouble speaking. As humorous as Siren and I found the voice cracking that was not the BIG thing.

Siren likes reading romance novels so that is what she was buying. when she puts the books down on the counter the cashier says, "Oh I've read that" in a feeble attempt to gain rapport through a commonality. Up until that moment Siren thought he was cute but it was so obvious that he was lying.

Siren said, "Really?"

And our AFC cashier, "Umm, well maybe not that one but something by the same author."

This is one of the biggest mistakes men can make. Trying to build a connection through commonalities. Especially fake commonalities. Let me say this loud and clear women can sense this kind of BS. A million guys have done it to her before and you are no different. Like Mystery Said, "The pick up artist is the exception to the rule"

So learn from AFC cashier. DONT TRY AND PLACATE A WOMAN BY FINDING COMMONALITIES!
When he asked Siren how she was paying she handed him a credit card and in an attempted suave voice he said, "Ahhh Credit cards."

I will pause for hysterical laughter. My only assumption is that this was his vain attempt to continue his flirting.

What Siren says was the biggest mistake Loud and clear was the fact he leaned over the counter with his entire upper body looked her up and down and handed her the reciept. The shear effort he put into this gesture completely lowered his value in Sirens eyes. Its the little things that count.

He also made these mistakes on a much bigger level in terms of ways he could actually have been succesful with siren but we can discuss those in a future post called RETAIL GAME. Look for it.

Magic

In the introduction to this blog I discussed the fact that I am a magician and A pick up artist. I was initially going to use this as a blog to discuss both topics but I dont think that is appropriate. I think that if I discussed Magic too much on this blog it would just blend in with the pick up and people would begin to assume I was preaching to learn magic to pick up women.
While I do think that both the art of pick up and the art of magic have a lot in common I do believe they need to be learned and apreciated seperatly for one to truly benefit the other. That is why I am starting a blog solely to discuss the art of magic. The link will be arriving shortly.

How I met Your mother

Any of you pick up artists out there looking for a laugh should check out the tv show How I met your mother. On it Neil Patrick Harris plays a Pick up artist who uses A lot of routines and gambits to get women to go home with him. The majority of these are absolutely hilarious and the character itself in my opinion is very noteworthy. But as in all films that I talk about on here there is some truth to the craziness. Not much but there is some.
Very soon I will be writing a review on the character played by Neil Patrick harris known as Barney Stinson. Becasue there is something to learn from him not so much in terms of techniques. But in persistance attitude and inner game. So look out for it guys.

You dont have to like them to think they're smart

We are not gonna name any names. Thats not what I am about. I abhore the political badgering and bashing done by PUA's. It seems that no instructor can teach his stuff without bashing someone else. But I have a small oppinion about this I want to share.
There are a lot of people out there like this. That I dont have much respect for.
There are also people out there who were not portrayed very kindly in the media and its hard to like them very much. (Including several people who are not portrayed very kindly in THE GAME)
My advice here is to look at what these guys have to offer yourself. Some of them you will not like as people but you have to appreciate they're intelligence in the subject of seduction and pickup. And you might have a lot to learn from them technique wise.
Also they're are the guys who are not portrayed well in the media. I recommend reading something they write. Or listening to a recent interview with them. Because I have found that a lot of these guys grow and evolve into amazing Pick Up Artists and or they were portrayed unfairly.

So lesson is.
there is too much bigotry, and political bantering in the community. Do not judge someones teaching till you personally look into it and try it.

PUA review #2: Made of Honor

Siren called me up while she was on vacation and said, "Have you seen the movie MADE OF HONOR. You will love it I think you should do a review of it on your blog."
Well let me tell you something. When it comes to siren telling me that I will like something. She is usually right. Soooooo needless to say here is the review of made of honor.

Patrick Dempsey is our pick up artist in this film. this is very well expressed in what I call the coffee cup scene. Dempsey is in a coffee shop picking up his and his best friends morning pick me up. there is an attractive woman eying him in line. There is an elderly lady waiting to pick up her coffee. Dempsey walks past the attractive girl and charms the older lady. He then turns around and finds that the attractive girl has picked up his coffee by mistake. She hands it back to him and it has her number on it.

what you should notice here is the fact that he showed disinterest to his target and DHVed by charming the older lady.
What you should learn in my mind from this scene is to never underestimate the value of charming the obstacles. A woman watching you being kind and helping an eldery man or woman is a HUGE DHV. And come on, its also just the nice thing to do. :0

Also in the beginning of the movie Dempsey character mentions the Doggy dinner bowl look. It was really funny because he puts it this way, "I have a theory, you see when a woman is into a man she has this look. I call it the doggy bowl look because its the same look a dog gets when you are about to set the bowl down" For those of you who don't know the DDB look was a term popularized by Ross Jeffries.

This film also accurately depicts the evolution of a Pick up artist who wants nothing but sex into someone who wants a genuine relationship. As he realizes he is in love with his best friend he tries to duplicate that relationship with multiple girls. The best scene about this is when he takes a girl he picked up to an antique store.
GIRL: Why are we here?
DEMPSEY: TO look around maybe buy something.
GIRL: BUT EVERYTHING IS SOOOO OLDDDDDDD.
DEMPSEY:Why are you talking like a six year old.
GIRL: Im not!!!!!!!!

Its at this point were he realizes he values intelligence and maturity not just physical beauty.
I personally related to these scenes because I went through a similar progression. This happens to all of us. We think at first we know what we want and then we learn. Through experience and time. What we want in a woman. Me personally I like a girl who can shut me up. I normally dominate socially and when a girl can hold her own in a conversation it gets my interest. Especially when she outdoes me in the comeback department. But that's just me ;)

So when you watch this movie remember these points. And also this movie is just funny in general. and as always I left room for some of your own observations. Enjoy

Glee pick up artist?

Have any of you seen the hello episode of glee? There is a scene were one of the main characters of the show, Rachel Berry, gets picked up. It is really an intriguing scene because as I was watching it I realized that is exactly what you would have to do to pick up this specific girl. It is well thought out, and planned thoroughly. I recommend watching it.

Movies that every man and EVERY PUA needs to watch

In no particular order these movies are fun movies for multiple reasons. First and foremost I believe a real man can enjoy a romantic comedy and these are some of the best ones. Second these movies contain men that women are atracted to and have characteristics that Pick up Artists can learn to model themselves after. A lot of these movies will end up being a pua Review so watch them and be prepared.

Personal philosophy

In my studies of this field I've come to one inevitable conclusion. I have not heard it before, but I am not going to delude myself into thinking I was the first to think of it. With that said here is my personal philosophy.

It is a Pick up artists job, to create moments. It is the pick up artists job to create the fantasy the woman has always dreamed of.
It is the pick up artists job to give the experience of a lifetime. To have them talking about it to there friends the next morning.
And by creating these moments. And ensuring these experiences. We get to have them as well. So not only should we leave people a little better than we found them. We should leave them a little better than when they found us.
That is what I teach.

A perfect example comes from one of my favorite movies, Hitch.
Before his date with Eva Mendes, Will Smith does his research. He finds out she had a relative come through Ellis Island so he has his friend find the page with her relatives name on it. The plan was to build this experience for her that no other man would do. Or even think of. We can learn from this two things. ONE- Build for her an experience that she would have with no other guy. TWO- Ive said it before and I will say it again. HAVE A PLAN!

Just thought I would put these thoughts out there.

Ghost's of Girlfriends Past

I just want to say that I will be doing a review of this movie very soon. It is one of my favorites for multiple reasons. So if you haven't seen it. Watch it. And then come back and read our pick up artist analysis.

The Christmas Principle

I just watched a movie called the Expendables. You might have heard of it. Well this is not going to be a review of that movie but there was a line in it that I think applied to pick up very well. It was something along the lines of, "The man who has the least problems with women, is the man who needs them the least."

Now how might a pick up artist like myself interpret that statement. Some took it as you cant live with women so don't need them.

I took it a little differently. It works along the lines of showing disinterest and
"loving yourself". The basic principle you can draw from this is. If you can learn to be truly happy about yourself and your life. Then you will have very little issues with attracting women. Because this self reliance is something women find very attractive. Although this idea is far from new. I have never heard it stated as such. So I am here forth going to refer to it as the Christmas Principle. If you don't understand this you are just going to have to watch the movie.

I plan on exploring this idea a little further at a later point in time.

PUA review #1: Wedding Crashers

There are multiple movies around with subjects akin to pick up. These movies can be very helpful to the aspiring pick up artist when they are discussed. A combination of modeling and contemplation of these films can help you with your game. So this is the first of many PUA reviews.

Last night Siren and I watched Wedding crashers from a completely different point of view than when it first came out. We watched it from the point of view of a pick up artist.
Wedding Crashers lead character portrayed by Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are great examples of masterful Pick Up Artists. They are charming and wells spoken. This is proven by the fact they manage to go to weddings they are not invited to and no on cares or question there vague back stories.
There are a few things that we can learn from this movie.
One is to internalize a set of rules and follow them. Mystery talks about how practicing Pick Up calibrates you socially. You learn what can happen in you interactions and what to do when those things happen.
Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson have a plan set for everything. When a woman Vince Vaughn picked up at a previous wedding shows up at there latest wedding they fall into a set routine of how to handle this. (Not that this plan is theatrical and created for comedic purposes and is not something people should try the point is they have a plan)
Another thing you can take from this movie is to never lose you cool. Rules of pick up and being alpha male say don't let others effect your state. There is a scene where Vince Vaughn is making animal balloons for the children at the wedding when one child comes up demonstrates himself to be a royal pain. He demands, "I want a bicycle. MAKE ME A BICYCLE. DO IT CLOWN. SHUT UP FUNNY MAN." Vince Vaughn keeps his cool, even though he is not sure how to handle the situation. He realizes that the only way to handle it is to make the child a balloon bicycle. What you have to learn from this is the fact that he handled the obstacle of the child without compromising himself even though he probably desired to tell the child off. Put simply no matter the obstacle don't compromise yourself as yelling at a child would have done find a way around it. (Obviously another situation build for theatricality as making a balloon bicycle is not something you can reasonably do)
Another important thing is specifically stated by Vince Vaughn he says, "Don't sit in the corner and sulk it calls attention to you in a negative way. call attention to yourself but on your own terms." this is something that I think applies to pick up very accurately.
There are also many other things but I think these are the most obvious and somewhat important. I would love it if other people added to this PUA analysis of Wedding Crashers.
to summarize
WEDDING CRASHER RULES (In no particular order)

1. Plan for as much as you can and internalize those plans.
2. Don't compromise yourself for an obstacle
3. Call attention to yourself but on your own terms
